STATEMENT: Life in Fragments.
The perception of fragments in my painting is deeply rooted in the idea that incomplete or fragmented elements is a human condition that can evoke a sense of mystery, myth, abstraction, and emotional depth. Each fragment—moments, memories, emotions—can be distinct yet interconnected by influencing our understanding of self and the world. My perspective highlights the complexity of human existence as viewed in my paintings where meaning emerges from the interplay of these scattered pieces. This is an invitation to embrace the chaos and find beauty in the incomplete, acknowledging that growth and identity are often shaped through these fragmented pieces. It also reflects that creative expression through visual art can capture and communicate this incompleteness in meaningful ways. |
