Born in Bad Säckingen situated between the Black Forest and Switzerland, Judy’s childhood was heavily influenced by traditional art, culture and the surrounding landscape.
An honours graduate of OCAD University, Toronto ON. Majoring in Communication and Design and graduate of The Art Centre, Toronto, ON. Judy has 35+ years of experience in Visual Art and in Advertising as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for National and International Clients.
Previously she also taught in the Art and New Media Department at Fanshawe College in London ON before moving to Halton. She occasionally accepts work in Graphic Design and Illustration.
Presently she teaches workshops and classes in art.
After a traumatic and life changing experience, Judy questioned her years of working as a Graphic Designer / Illustrator.
Now she is fascinated by the mental state that arises spontaneously through the exploration of abstract painting. This is often accompanied by physiological changes and potentially rewarding stimuli that is reflected in her paintings.
